Deadlines

  • 29 Nov 2024 Spring 2025 application (most recent guideline located)Passed. Expect a similar date next cycle.Window 11-29 Nov 2024; results 30 Dec 2024; tuition payment 7-10 Jan 2025. A 2027-cycle guideline was not located in this research - CNU republishes a near-identical document each semester, so the structure likely carries forward but dates/amounts must be re-checked.

Where it leads

A 'Language scholarship' pays 500,000 KRW to new students who complete 4+ terms of CNU's own Korean regular course and place directly into the bachelor's program in the following term (see Chungnam language-center entry). Separately, freshmen with TOPIK 5+ get a full first-semester tuition waiver and TOPIK 4 holders get half of 'Tuition 2' waived.

Visa

D-2. Chungnam holds the 'Excellent' IEQAS tier, the strongest visa-processing position of the five universities researched here, per the official Study in Korea certified-university list.

Things to know

Both applicant and parents must hold non-Korean nationality. Chungnam is IEQAS-certified at the 'Excellent' tier.

The most recent Chungnam undergraduate guideline located in this research covers the Spring 2025 intake, two cycles before the 2027 intake this file targets. Tuition, deadlines and the exact deposit-freeze date should be re-verified against a current-cycle cnuint.cnu.ac.kr notice before advising a client - the TOPIK scholarship structure itself is unlikely to have changed much.
