What the scholarship covers

NTU's own page: 'Local and international full-time undergraduate students who gain admission to NTU on a subsidised fee basis are eligible for a tuition grant and GST subsidy from MOE' -- no nationality list; Mongolia neither named nor excluded.

What you need

  • IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 90 or PTE Academic 55Academic; Writing and Speaking sub-scores must also be 6.5+. Valid within 2 years. iBT total; Writing and Speaking sub-scores must also be 25+. Writing sub-score must be 59+.
  • Admission on a subsidised fee basis; SAT/ACT is listed only as one English-proficiency option and is compulsory only for specific named exam systems (e.g. Gaokao, HKDSE, Korean CSAT) or anyone who did not study in English -- whether a Mongolian-certificate applicant is required to submit SAT/ACT was not resolved this session.

  • 3-year bond to work for an ACRA-registered Singapore entity after graduation.
  • Personal statement/recommendation letter NOT required except for MBBS (Medicine).

Same ambiguity as NUS: not explicitly named, not excluded. Confirm directly before relying on it.

English-test minimums are unusually well documented for NTU compared to NUS -- use these as the working numbers for both until NUS's own figures are confirmed.
