UQ College Integrated English + Package Offer pathway
UQ College (The University of Queensland), Brisbane, Australia
Five-week-session English modules (5 to 45 weeks total depending on starting level) that package with the UQ Foundation Program or direct UQ degree offers; UQ College's Bridging English (not Integrated English) is what actually guarantees entry.
What you need
- IELTS 3.5Integrated English levels run from IE Prep (entry IELTS 3.5) to Level 5 (entry IELTS 6.0); passing Integrated English alone does NOT give direct UQ entry - an independent IELTS/TOEFL/equivalent result is still required, or progression via the Foundation Program / Bridging English.
- Package offers combine: Foundation Program + UQ undergrad degree; Integrated English + Foundation + UQ undergrad; Bridging English + UQ undergrad; or Bridging English + UQ postgrad.
- On a package offer, the student gets an unconditional offer for the English/pathway component and a conditional offer for the UQ degree, contingent on completion grades.
Where it leads
Guaranteed entry to the chosen UQ undergraduate or postgraduate program on successful completion of Bridging English or the Foundation Program (Integrated English alone does not guarantee entry).
Visa
Subclass 500 Student visa; Genuine Student requirement (see Australia Awards entry).
Things to know
No nationality restriction found.
Be careful marketing this: Integrated English on its own is a general-English ramp, not the guaranteed-entry product - Bridging English or the Foundation Program is. Bridging English's own fee table was not retrieved this session.
