Among the cheaper Scottish university options for international undergraduates outside the allied-health professions, which are priced separately and much higher.
What you need
- IELTS 6Undergraduate: 6.0 overall, no skill below 5.5. Postgraduate: 6.5 overall, no skill below 6.0. TOEFL iBT, PTE Academic, LanguageCert, Trinity ISE, Cambridge (CAE/CPE/FCE at B2+), Kaplan Test of English, Oxford Test of English/ELLT, and WASSCE/WAEC English Grade C6+ (within 2 years) are also accepted. Duolingo is explicitly NOT accepted.
- Alternative routes to meeting the English requirement include prior degree-level study taught in English, or IB/A-Level/SQA/Irish Leaving Certificate qualifications.
Where it leads
Standard QMU undergraduate degree (business, media/communication, drama/design, social sciences, etc.) at a comparatively low fee; allied-health degrees are a separate, much higher-fee track.
